Pink responds to rumours about her wiped X/Twitter account after Diddy arrest

Pink has responded to rumours about the reasons behind her removing all tweets from her X/Twitter account following Diddy‘s arrest.

The singer originally wiped her social media back in February, where her final message on X/Twitter was: “This account will self-destruct in two minutes.”

However, in the wake of Diddy’s arrest for sex trafficking, racketeering and transporting for prostitution, fans have spotted Pink’s social media and speculated whether she was trying to hide any links with the disgraced rapper.

Now, Pink has taken to her Instagram to clarify any rumours, writing: “I don’t know why I became a headline this week, but I wiped my Twitter account on February 6!!!”

“There is no truth to the rumors spread this week, and while I’ve met people in passing, I’m not associated with any of the people mentioned.”

Usher similarly was forced to speak out as his own account was seemingly wiped following Diddy’s arrest. Diddy was Usher’s mentor, with Usher previously sharing his experiences living at Diddy’s home aged 13.

Taking to X/Twitter, he wrote: “Account got hacked and damn y’all ran with it! See you tonight at Intuit Dome.”

Diddy was arrested in New York last Monday (September 16) and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transporting for prostitution. The arrest follows a number of sexual misconduct allegations filed against him over the past year.

He has since been denied bail, with the latest reports claiming that he had been placed on suicide watch as he awaits trial.
