The SVD has stood out in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta as the better of the two sniper rifles, thanks to its strong upper body damage and rapid rate of fire. But, how can you make the most of it.

Well, in this guide we will go over the best Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 SVD loadout and class setup covering the attachments to run. We’ll also touch on the best perks, equipment, and more.
Best ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ SVD loadout
The best SVD loadout in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is:
Optic: Blandwell 7x Scope
Magazine: Fast Mag I
Comb: Quickdraw Riser
Stock: Heavy Stock
Fire Mods: Rapid Fire
The Blandwell 7x Scope takes our first attachment slot, offering a good balance between high and low zoom. It allows you to still be able to take shots on people up close and pick others off from afar, which is what you will be doing with this build, focused on roaming and staying mobile.
Although you will take a hit on your magazine size, the Fast Mag I attachment is vital to being able to stay on the move because of its sprint to fire speed and aim down sight speed increases. This can allow you to snipe people quicker, especially if you are caught off guard coming around a corner and not suffer from an unfortunate death.
Next up is the Quickdraw Riser, another fantastic mobility-based attachment that dramatically increases your aim down sight speed. Equipping this with the Fast Mag completely changes how the SVD feels and allows you to create an active sniper loadout.
The Heavy Stock is our next pick allowing you to reduce your flinch resistance when aiming with the weapon. This is paritcularly useful as Black Ops 6 is such a fast game and as you are prepping your shot (whether it is a quickscope or not) you will often take a bullet or two due to how fast everyone is playing. This ensures you can better stay on target.
Finally, we suggest levelling up the SVD almost all of the way to get the Rapid Fire attachment, increasing your fire rate and allowing you to take someone out if you miss first time.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 best SVD class setup
The best class setup for the SVD in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta is:
Pistol: GS45
Melee: Knife
Tactical: Stim Shot
Lethal: Semtex
Field Upgrade: Trophy System
Perk 1: Ghost
Perk 2: Tracker
Perk 3: Vigilance
Wildcard: Perk Greed: Flak Jacket
This class setup has appeared in several of our other loadout guides because the perks on offer are simply the best. Use three perks to get the Recon Combat Speciality.
This allows you to see enemies through walls for a short time when you respawn, allowing you to gain extra intel and head into the next fight with the upper hand, potentially pre-aiming an alley or corner. You also don’t leave any skulls on enemy bodies, telling the other team where you are or where you killed someone – great for when you are flanking. Additionally, your HUD will flash slightly if you are being aimed at by an enemy outside of your view, which we have found to be incredibly useful when paired with the omnimovement, to dart out of the way and avoid getting picked off.
In addition, use Perk Greed as your Wildcard and choose Flak Jacket. Explosives are ridiculous in Black Ops 6, and the perk feels like a necessity with most builds.
In your Perk 1 slot, you want to choose Ghost. This is a key perk and arguably one of the best in the game, thanks to its ability to keep you off the radar. In the Perk 2 Slot, use Tracker. This pings enemies for you when you are aiming at them and allows you to see footsteps on the ground from nearby enemies, vital to gaining the upper hand on your opponents
Finally, choose Vigilance in the Perk 3 section. This isn’t the best perk in the third slot, but we have to choose it in the beta for now to get the Recon Combat Speciality.
Choose a knife and the GS45 in your secondary slot, and then the Semtex for a lethal. It is easily the best piece of equipment in Black Ops 6 currently due to its power and short fuse time, making it incredibly hard to avoid. In your tactical slot, opt for the Stim Shot. This is a key piece of equipment for any loadout right now as we all get to grips with the fast-paced nature of this game and omnimovement.
Fianlly, the Trophy System is our Field Upgrade choice, allowing you to protect objectives or yourself if you end up having to hunker down in a location.
