The C9 is the first SMG you get in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta. Initially, you might find it isn’t as effective as you had hoped, but a great class set-up can work wonders for it. That is why we have put together this Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 C9 loadout.

In this guide, we will cover the entire class setup you will want to run, as well as the individual attachments you should equip to the gun to really increase its effectiveness.
Best ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ C9 loadout
The best C9 loadout in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta is:
Optic: Kepler Red Dot
Muzzle: Ported Compensator
Barrel: Long Barrel
Underbarrel: Precision Foregrip
Rear Grip: Ergonomic Grip
The C9 is a pretty good weapon overall. But these attachments will help with its downsides in each area, specifically horizontal bounce, damage at range, and some small mobility problems.
Although it is unlocked late, the Ergonomic Grip is our Rear Grip choice. It will enhance your ability even more by improving your firing speed when you are diving and sliding. It also boosts your ADS speed overall.
In the Underbarrel slot, choose the Precision Foregrip, which will help with the horizontal bounciness of the C9. This will reduce the horizontal recoil it has by a good amount and keep your weapon more stable for those medium range fights.
Next up, in the Muzzle slot, opt for the Ported Compensator to improve your vertical recoil and the first shot recoil, significantly improving the weapon’s steadiness overall when paired with the Precision Foregrip. Finally, in the Barrel slot, like with most other weapons, choose the Long Barrel.
When it comes to your Optic choice, the Iron Sights here aren’t terrible, but we would suggest the Kepler Red Dot. This is a real smooth, sleek sight for SMGs, and we found it works better than some of the other mini red dot sights.
‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ best C9 class setup
The best class setup for the C9 in the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 beta is:
Pistol: GS45
Melee: Knife
Tactical: Stim Shot
Lethal: Semtex
Field Upgrade: Assault Pack
Perk 1: Ghost
Perk 2: Tracker
Perk 3: Vigilance
Wildcard: Perk Greed: Flak Jacket

With this class setup, the goal is to play at close-to-medium range at almost all times while gaining information about your enemy, to have the upper hand at moments where the C9 might lose a fight. That is why we suggest using three blue perks to get the Recon Combat Speciality.
This allows you to see enemies through walls for a short time when you respawn, allowing you to gain extra intel and head into the next fight ahead of your enemies. You also don’t leave any skulls on enemy bodies, telling the other team where you are or where you killed someone – great for when you are flanking. Additionally, your HUD will flash slightly if you are being aimed at by an enemy outside of your view, which we have found to be incredibly useful when paired with the omnimovement, to dart out of the way and avoid getting picked off.
In addition, use Perk Greed as your Wildcard and choose Flak Jacket. Explosives are incredibly strong in Black Ops 6, and the perk feels like a necessity at this point in the beta.
In your Perk 1 slot, you want to choose Ghost. This is a key perk and arguably one of the best in the game for almost any build, thanks to its ability to keep you off the radar. In the Perk 2 Slot, use Tracker. This pings enemies for you when you are aiming at them and allows you to see footsteps on the ground from nearby enemies, vital to gaining the upper hand on your opponents
Finally, choose Vigilance in the Perk 3 section. This isn’t the best perk in the third slot, but we have to choose it in the beta for now to get the Recon Combat Speciality.
Choose a knife and the GS45 in your secondary slot, and then the Semtex for a lethal. It is easily the best piece of equipment in Black Ops 6 currently due to its power and short fuse time, making it incredibly hard to avoid. In your tactical slot, opt for the Stim Shot. This is a key piece of equipment for any loadout right now as we all get to grips with the fast-paced nature of this game and omnimovement.
Fianlly, the assault pack is our Field Upgrade of choice, as you will often run out of bullets with the C9, so this will allow you to refill your ammo and your equipment.
The combination of this class setup and the overall attachments means that the C9 can become a solid weapon to use in multiplayer at close and medium ranges.
