Future and Metro: A Dynamic Duo Reignites the Streets

Future and Metro have teamed up again for their third music video, following their hit single “WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU.” This collaboration showcases the enduring bond between Future and Metro Boomin, solidifying their status as one of the most dynamic duos in the hip-hop scene. After lending their talents to Mr. Hendrix on his sister album HNDRXX, which R&B heavily influenced, the duo took a brief break from Atlanta. This break spanned from 2018 to the final days of 2022.

Interestingly, even during Metro’s solo projects, not all heroes wore capes, and the same was true for his album Savage Mode II, where Future appeared. However, their reunion was marked by the release of “Superhero (Heroes & Villains)” at midnight, December 2, which was met with worldwide acclaim, and this moment marked the beginning of their renewed partnership. Since then, they have continued to collaborate, releasing a series of albums this year, all of which are expected to remain popular well into 2024.

The latest addition to their discography is WE STILL DON’T TRUST YOU, the follow-up to their March album WE DON’T TRUST YOU. Many fans have warmed up to this sequel after initially feeling let down by the first album, which was more focused on creating a darker, more intense atmosphere. This album features tracks like “Like That,” the title track, “Type S***,” and “WTFYM,” among others. The second disc, WSDTY, includes more energetic and aggressive tracks, including the closing song, “Streets Made Me A King.”

The theme of “Streets Made Me A King” as an anthem for the life of a street-born star is a recurring motif that fans love. Although not everyone’s favorite, the song is undeniably a crowd favorite. The Wonder Twins decided to create a video for these albums, with the third one for WSDTY being their latest. You can explore their journey to success with the link provided below.
