WAKER Shows Boyfriend Charms with Release of Second EP Album “SWEET TAPE”


The second episode of WAKER’s new journey begins. On July 16, group WAKER released their 2nd EP Album “Sweet Tape.” 

WAKER’s second mini-album ‘Sweet Tape’ contains a refreshing and sweet story of six members living different lives from different backgrounds falling in love. WAKER’s confident voice, which will cool you off in the hot summer, reveals strong aspirations for a new leap forward.

The EP include nine songs where WAKER show off their sweet boyfriend charms; ‘Intro: Where do we go.’ ‘Call My Name,’ ‘Dolce,’ ‘Don’t Worry,’ ‘꿈에서 날 만나,’ ‘쉬어,’ ‘Lollipop,’ and ‘Dreaming Talk: DAY 2.’ The title track ‘Vanilla Choco Shake’ contains someone’s ambitions to become a special someone’s lover instead of stuck in the friend zone, while comparing love to various sweet foods.

The release of the mini album unlocks a new achievement for the rookie group as they have debuted as number 9 on the Hanteo album first day sells chart.
