Kehlani’s head over heels on her new single, “Next 2 U”.
On the sultry ballad, the Oakland songstress sings the joys of her significant lover’s presence.
“You’re more than the sun, you are the sun beams / Your love is high, wide like a river,” she sings. “And if I die, I already fell in love with it / Ooh, I know what it’s like to feel like I’m dying in peace.”
The record follows April’s “After Hours” and are both off Kehlani’s forthcoming album, Crash, the much-anticipated follow-up to 2022’s, blue water road.
