Ron A.P. has opened up ‘The Ex-Files’ in his latest release

Baltimore hip hop heavyweight Ron A.P. has dropped his atmospheric lyrically-led single,
The Ex-Files, which melds the old school with the new around his unique sonic signature.
After a playful intro that leaves you waiting for the contemporary rapper to get in the flow, the
conversational and organically natural bars that follow find no room to disappoint.
There is a smorgasbord of brutal honesty, which is made even more immersive through the
way each bar emphasizes how contrasting feelings can be when we part ways with
someone we almost love to hate.
Even the title never stops giving; not only is it a cool nod to 90s sci-fi, but it also cites the
mental baggage that we carry in the aftermath of a relationship that needs to be
compartmentalized akin to the narrative in the Ex-Files.
