On March 13,  the 38th Japan Gold Disc Awards took place, honoring musical artists for their outstanding achievements from January 1 to December 31, 2023.

Among the many artists honored were familiar K-Pop favorites who have made a lasting impact globally.

LE SSERAFIM won two awards at the 38th Japan Gold Disc Awards. The popular fourth-gen group won the “New Artist of the Year” award in the Asia Division.

They also won “Best 3 New Artists” in the Asia Division.

RIIZE

Popular fifth-generation group RIIZE won the “Best 3 New Artists” award in the Asia Division at the 38th Japan Gold Disc Awards.

Stray Kids

Fourth-generation K-Pop group Stray Kids won “Best 5 singles” for EP, Social Path / Super Bowl (Japanese Ver.). “Social Path” features legendary Japanese singer-songwriter LiSA.

BTS‘s Jungkook won the award for “Song of the Year” by download in the Asia Division for his debut solo single, “SEVEN (feat. Latto).”

Fourth-generation group NewJeans took home two awards from the 38th Japan Gold Disc Awards. The group won “Best 3 New Artists” in the Asia Division.

They also won “Song of the Year” by streaming in the Asia Division for their smash-hit, “OMG.”

SEVENTEEN

SEVENTEEN took home numerous awards from the 38th Gold Disc Awards. The talented third-generation group won “Best Artist” in the Asia Division. They took home “Album of the Year” in the Asia Division for their 10th mini album FML.

They also won all three awards under “Best 3 Albums” in the Asia Division for their 11th mini album SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN, their Japan Best Album, Always Yours, and their 10th mini-album, FML.

The group also won “Music Video of the Year” in the Asia Division for their concert movie, SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [BE THE SUN] JAPAN.
