On-screen, K-Drama bullies have a typecasted image — they are often rich, spoiled brats who scheme devious little plots to make the main character’s life harder whenever they have free time. But how do these bullies (or rather, the real people playing them) hang out in real life?
If we take Lim Ji Yeon and Cha Joo Young as reliable references, then it turns out that those same on-screen bullies apparently spend their spare time with chaotic drunk hangouts.

As the characters of Park Yeon Jin and Choi Hye Jeong in The Glory, Lim, and Cha, respectively, have become the faces of some of the most notorious K-Drama villains. Though on-screen, their relationship was more parasitical than friendly, in real life, the two actresses seem to have maintained a close friendship.

Recently, Lim Ji Yeon updated her Instagram with two drunk selfies with Cha Joo Young, with the caption reading “Drinking companions.” From the pictures, it is evident that the actresses were drinking in a homely setting, comfortable in their loungewear, posing like real-life besties.

The unexpected drunk selfies were serious surprises to fans since nobody expected to see such candid parts of the actress’s life on social media. Even Netflix Korea joined in the fun, leaving a comment saying, “Nod if you need hangover food.”
While their on-screen shenanigans had viewers terrified, one must admit that this pair is giving friendship goals.
