KQ Entertainment Addresses TikToker’s Alarming Viral Challenge To Collab With ATEEZ

Recently, TikToker IamfromKorea was challenged to “find someone like ATEEZ’s Choi San.” So, he searched for the location of the group’s agency, KQ Entertainment.

He visited the company and spoke to the receptionist, explaining he was a YouTuber who wanted to interview San. When he said, “I’m just looking for hot guys,” the receptionist declined his request and he left.

Initially, many fans found it hilarious. Yet, many also pointed out the major safety concerns. Other K-Pop companies like HYBE are known for intense safety, even getting inside the building, while RBW also requires fingerprint recognition to get inside. While the TikToker didn’t meet the members, it was still alarming how easily he could enter.

kq needs to tighten up security cause this man just walked in like “hi i would like to interview choi san for my youtube channel where i talk to hot guys??????” https://t.co/RyUZ1WcXxw

Still, he followed up with a second video since it went viral with 483.9K views at the time of writing. It was even more concerning as the TikToker made a fake business card to appear more professional.

can we all take a second to acknowledge this is highly unprofessional and invasive? if you actually have an interesting collab idea with Ateez just email KQ instead of invading their privacy TWICE by recording audio without their permission… pic.twitter.com/TtrFNucCh0

This time, he spoke to a staff about a potential marketing strategy. He teased at the end that there would be a part 3.

Part 3 is out, and it’s not from him. KQ Entertainment responded to IamfromKorea’s controversial actions.

KQ Entertainment posted a statement in both Korean and English via X (formerly Twitter). The company acknowledged that individuals have continually visited without a meeting scheduled and that it is indeed a security risk and disruptive to the employees. So, KQ Entertainment promised to take legal action if the individuals were to return.

Hello.
