Earlier this month, there was an arguably outlandish theory that the developer would show off a glimpse of Grand Theft Auto 6 to coincide with the correct moon phase seen in a screenshot of Grand Theft Auto Online.
Since then, PC Gamer has pointed out that the image used to promote a Halloween-themed Red Dead Online event has been perceived as another Grand Theft Auto 6 allusion. Check it out below:

GTA 6 has been trending on X (formerly Twitter) for the majority of October as the developer has a habit of revealing its games within this month.
Yet, nothing has been shared by Rockstar Games as of October 25, which has incited aggravation, apathy, and in a few instances, delirium from fans.

Rockstar Games shared that there were already “some ideas” for the sequel only one month after the launch of Grand Theft Auto 5 in 2013. However, a scattering of reports over the subsequent eight years was all that fans got about the possible direction of the series.
In February 2022, Rockstar Games officially announced that development of the next Grand Theft Auto game was “well underway”, but in September 2022, the company suffered a catastrophic cyber attack.
The hacker uploaded almost an hour of footage of the game from an earlier point in its development onto the internet. In response, Rockstar Games shared its “disappointment” that this was the first thing that fans saw of the game and that it would not impact development.
“We will update everyone again soon and, of course, will properly introduce you to this next game when it is ready,” it said in a statement.
In other gaming news, Diablo 4 will be giving away a free PC in a sweepstakes, but only if its fans donate 666 quarts (630 litres) of human blood before November 20.
