“Single’s Inferno” And BLACKPINK? The Crossover Nobody Expected

After the success of the first series, Netflix returned with Single’s Inferno 2. As expected, the cast members went looking for love while viewers went looking for information.

One of the season’s most popular contestants was Lee So E. From the minute she arrived, she gained attention for her innocent visuals and sweet personality.

Unlike many of the other contestants, So E didn’t have the best of luck with love. After arriving on the island, she instantly fell for Jo Yoong Jae but was turned down. Thankfully, she had better luck with new arrival Kim Se Jun, who also became a fan favorite.

In particular, she has an unexpected connection to BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo and her breakout role as an actress Snowdrop.

In 2021, despite the controversies surrounding the show’s storyline, Jisoo and actor Jung Hae In captured the hearts of netizens with their story of forbidden love.

What does that have to do with So E? After doing some digging, netizens discovered that So E–whose career hadn’t been revealed during a trip to “Paradise” yet–is an actress. Like Jisoo, she appeared in Snowdrop.

While the scene was short, it seemingly was from episode five, where all the students were gathered just before being made to stand in a line.

When the video was released, many couldn’t believe that So E, being a budding actress, was in such a huge K-Drama.

Yet, it isn’t the first time that So E has appeared in shows. So E had a more major role in the First Responders. In the series, she played one of the victims and showcased more of her visual and acting skills. She has since gone on to appear in several K-Dramas: The Glory, The Glory Part 2, Heartbeat, and The Matchmakers.
