Produced by Wyclef, the global rapper and superstar preaches the importance of saving and investing alongside of diverse group of hitmakers.
“Long before that diamond, I was in the dark / Graveyard shift, had to double up,” sings Clef on the infectious hook, while Capella Grey adds his vocals to the inspiring anthem. “Everything is up, moving for us . And my business in order, money stacking taller / Now Forbes wanna report us.
Lola’s for the kids (“Financial freedom is so fulfilling / Generational wealth is what you show the children”), and King Push is too. “You could turn a brick to a Beamer, here some pointers / Nowadays, I’m ignoring ’em / Rather build a legacy for my son, that’s important for him / Real estate just rewarding him,” he raps while Flau’Jae delivers a hot verse. “And lil’ ol’ me just found a seat with all of the greats / I’m investing in myself, so it ain’t hard to relate.”
Wyclef and company premiered the track during a late-night performance on The Tonight Show Starrling Jimmy Fallon on Thursday (Jan 11). Proceeds from the song will be donated to the First Generation Investors.
