X has risen.

After over a year off, Lil Nas X resurrects with his latest single, “J Christ”, which arrives alongside a striking music video directed by himself.

Beginning with a walk through the pearly gates, Lil Nas X turns up in Heaven with Michael Jackson and plays a one-on-one game of ball with the devil. After a fiery scene in Hell, the “Old Town Road” hitmaker portrays a cheerleader, Jesus nailed to a cross, and Noah battling the seas.

“Bust-down chain, that was thirty bands, bust down / Wrist, that’s my bust down, thirty inch,” he raps. “Walk up in the club popping shit like it was Doublemint / Looking for a ten, we only settle when it’s settlements.”

Co-produced by himself, Take A Daytrip, Blake Slatkin, and Jasper Harris, “J Christ” is Lil Nas X’s first music since 2022’s “Star Walkin” and “Late To “Late To The Party” with NBA YoungBoy. His previous album was Montero the year before.
