JID rings in the new year with his latest recording, “30 Freestyle”.
Produced by Christo, Conductor Williams, and Tane Runo, the Atlanta MC spews countless bars referencing his status in the game.
“Who the biggest, baddest in the land? / Is about to masturbate with both hands? Smack it across your face,” raps the Dreamville artist. “Drop a tape before the album, most of you lost taste / But I’m sniffing like a hound for a scent of the lost greats.”
Recorded during a recent tour stop in Poland, “30 Freestyle” marks JID’s first release since his two-pack with Lil Yachty “Half Doin Dope” and “Van Gogh“. JID left off hinting more new music is on the way. “ima just drop music all year and see what happens,” he posted on X.
