Chet Hanks used to be friends with the wide deceiver, aka Daejon Love, and we are not surprised by this turn of events.

Jamaican cosplayer Chet Hanks decided to get in on the Daejon Love drama and shared that he was once good friends with the man who cosplayed as a professional football player for the San Francisco 49ers and is now facing fraud charges.

Thursday (Sept.3), the apple of Tom and Rita Hanks’ eyes shared an Instagram video from France, speaking about his history with Love and revealing they were friends in high school, played football together, and dated “cougar milfs.”

“We played football together. He was a wide receiver. I was a free safety and we was friends, man,” the star of the Netflix series Running Point said. “Daejon was a good dude, you know, but take that with a grain of salt in regards to these alleged accusations of him scamming and everything.”

He added that they spent time “riding around LA” in luxury vehicles while attending “house parties in Bel-Air,” adding that he feels responsible for “maybe having an influence on the direction he took in life.”

“That’s a good question,” Hanks continued in the clip. “See, the thing is, looking back on it, I feel like I may have had a little bit of influence on him.”

Hanks revealed that two former friends dated “cougar milfs” while they worked as cabana boys, sharing that the older women bought vehicles for them. “For a while there, I got a Range Rover out of it. Daejon got a G-Wagon,” Hanks explained. “It was a couple years old, but it was still nice. You know, it was clean. And things were good, man.”

“Back to if I feel responsible for the part I play. Well, I’m going to be honest. No, I don’t,” Hanks said. “Because we all grow men. And we all make our own decisions. I lost touch with him. Haven’t spoke to him in years. Haven’t seen him. It was real touch and go there for a while. But yeah, man. So… Please stop asking me about this. Respect my privacy.”
