Showing Teeth has released her debut EP, A Fate Worse Than Loneliness, via Republic Records and Spinefarm. The seven-track project includes the previously released songs “Bad Exchanges,” “Labyrinth,” and “Rip,” as well as “Make It Out,” “Shallow Grave,” “A&Ox1,” and “Paradigm.” The Nashville-based artist has also shared a music video for “Make It Out” to coincide with the EP’s release.
“Make It Out” pairs a glitchy opening riff with palm-muted guitar and keys before moving into a heavier refrain centered on anxiety and self-defeat. The accompanying video places Showing Teeth in a confined performance setting. A Fate Worse Than Loneliness is also available through the artist’s newly opened online store, which launched alongside her first official merchandise collection.
The EP follows “Bad Exchanges,” which is nearing one million total streams, and “Rip,” which has passed one million streams. Revolver recently included “Rip” among its “6 Best New Songs Right Now.” Metal Hammer, meanwhile, selected “Bad Exchanges” for its “12 Best New Metal Songs You Need To Hear Right Now” list. Showing Teeth will support President on the band’s North American Campaign 2026 this fall, with the run beginning September 4 at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville and continuing through an October 14 show at House of Blues Dallas.
Showing Teeth began posting about heavy music on TikTok in 2023, sharing vocal practice clips and demos before working in Nashville with producer Dan Book, multi-instrumentalist Zach Munowitz, and Periphery drummer Matt Halpern. In late 2025, she released “Labyrinth.” She later signed with Spinefarm and Republic Records and opened for Bring Me The Horizon in Manchester before appearing onstage with Motionless In White. Following the President tour, Showing Teeth is also scheduled to perform at Ceremony Festival in Nashville on October 17.
