Glen Powell continues to be the master of disguises in Hulu series Chad Powers.
Created by Powell and Michael Waldron, the sports comedy series follows star quarterback Russ Holliday who, after destroying his career at a college championship game, undergoes a physical transformation in order to join a floundering team under the name of Chad Powers.

Powell stars in the lead role, alongside Perry Mattfeld, Quentin Plair, Wynn Everett, Frankie Rodriguez, Steve Zahn and Toby Huss.
Chad Powers debuted on Hulu in the US in September 2025, with a second season arriving a year later on September 3, 2026.
Is Chad Powers season 3 happening?

At the time of writing (August 27, 2026), Hulu has not renewed Chad Powers for a third season. The show’s future will likely depend on the viewership of the second season, which is set to drop all at once on Disney+ on September 3, 2026 in the UK.
It also might depend on Glen Powell’s schedule. The actor has various projects lined up for next year, including Judd Apatow’s The Comeback King and The Great Beyond from director J.J. Abrams.
Have the creators said anything about a potential season 3?
In an interview with Variety, show creators Glen Powell and Michael Waldron confirmed they had mapped out Chad Powers for three seasons.
“There’s a beginning, middle and end,” Powell said. “I know how I want this thing to land for audiences. Sometimes it’s just not saying, ‘Hey, we’re gonna drag this thing out until it can’t go anymore.’ We have a great mic drop for where this is all going.”
