Eddie Vedder has released the official music video for “Better Believe,” the song created with The Obama Foundation and Guitars Over Guns that made its live debut at the Obama Presidential Center dedication on June 18. The video follows the collaboration from the recording process through the dedication performance, showing how Vedder worked with artists and students from the Chicago-based nonprofit.
“Better Believe” was recorded at Columbia College Chicago, where students and alumni from the school’s Audio Arts program joined young musicians from Guitars Over Guns in the studio. Andre “Add-2” Daniels facilitated the collaboration through his roles as an adjunct professor of instruction at Columbia College Chicago and Chicago regional director for Guitars Over Guns.
All royalties earned by Vedder and the song’s co-writers will benefit Guitars Over Guns, which uses music, mentorship and the arts in its youth development work. Guitars Over Guns focuses on helping young people build skills and expand opportunities for their futures through creative programs and mentorship.
Vedder has been busy over the past year. His 2026 live schedule has also included his first solo tour of Japan, a four-city run from April 14 to April 20 with stops in Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. At the 10th Ohana Festival, Vedder is scheduled to perform at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, California, on September 25, while Pearl Jam is set for September 27. The 2026 Ohana lineup also includes Tyler Childers, Maná, Alabama Shakes and Fontaines D.C. Best of Blues and Rock 2026 will then bring Vedder to Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo, Brazil, for two headline appearances on November 20 and November 22.
