Also coming to Fortnite Festival on Thursday (August 20) is the classic Sabrina Carpenter bop ‘Nonsense’. Carpenter previously served as a “festival icon” in April 2025 when her songs ‘Juno’ and ‘Nonsense’ became jam tracks and one of her signature outfits was made available in the shop.

Fornite Festival shared the news on its X account, as shown below.

When Carpenter served as a Fortnite Festival headliner, she joined an impressive roll call of artists to have featured in the rhythm game, including The Weeknd, Gorillaz and Billie Eilish.

Lil Tecca was recently unveiled as the headliner of season 15 of Fortnite Festival, taking over from jazz-pop star Laufey.

“I’m always trying to get new fans and introduce people to what might be their new favourite artist, so this is a great opportunity [to do that],” he told NME earlier this month. “I also want people that have already been listening to my music to see me, a fellow Fortnite player, in the game and it move them. I want to inspire [someone to become] the next Lil Tecca.”

Speaking to NME about her own Festival takeover, Laufey said: “Fortnite is just so fantastical. It’s something that you’d never see in real life but if you closed your eyes while listening to my music, it’s the world you might dream up. It’s uber romantic and very expressionist, in a way. I want to encourage my fans to be the biggest version of themselves. Inside a video game, you’re free to be the most [authentic] version of yourself and not feel like you’re being judged.”
