Bella Ramsey heads off to “chemo camp” in coming-of-age comedy Sunny Dancer.
Directed by George Jaques, the film follows 17-year-old Ivy who, after overcoming cancer, is sent to a summer camp dedicated to those affected by the disease, where she encounters other like-minded misfits.

Along with Ramsey, the film’s cast includes Daniel Quinn-Toye, Earl Cave, Ruby Stokes, Neil Patrick Harris, Jessica Gunning and James Norton.
Sunny Dancer was released in UK cinemas on August 14, 2026.
Who composed the Sunny Dancer soundtrack?
The film’s score is by Este Haim and Zachary Dawes. The former is best known for being a member of rock band Haim, while Dawes is a bassist for the bands Mini Mansions and The Last Shadow Puppets.
This is Este Haim’s latest credit as a composer, after composing music for Netflix’s Maid and Anyone But You starring Sydney Sweeney.
