Alan Jackson has reached a new significant milestone, officially moving over 85.5 million units in the United States alone. The new figure was certified by the RIAA.
The news was relayed to Jackson during the Nashville, Tennessee farewell gig, “Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale.” After the gig, which was sold out and featured over 80,000 attendees, Jackson was surprised by the RIAA with a plaque honoring the new achievement.
“Alan Jackson has built a legacy through songs that have defined Country music for more than four decades, creating a lasting connection to generations of fans. We were honored to celebrate his impact on the music community, and his remarkable 85.5-million RIAA certifications,” says RIAA SVP Artist & Industry Relations Jackie Jones.
Jackson initially announced this last show in October of 2025. Jackson was joined on stage at Nissan Stadium by a number of country superstars, including Luke Bryan, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Jon Pardi, Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and more.
“It’s been a long road… and it’s taken me places I never imagined,” Jackson, 66, told People Magazine in a statement when he announced the show. “But I can’t think of a better place to put on a big show and give the fans a finale than in Nashville and include so many special friends.”
The reason for Jackson’s farewell is due to his CMT diagnosis, which he revealed in 2021. He shared, “I have this neuropathic, neurological disease I inherited from my daddy. I’ve been reluctant to talk about this publicly, but it’s been a while, and it’s starting to affect my performance on stage a little bit where I don’t feel comfortable… It’s not going to kill me, it’s not deadly… It’s not fatal — it’s just going to disable me eventually.” A dollar from every ticket sold for Last Call: One More for the Road – The Finale was donated to the CMT Research Foundation, which funds research into Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
