Tom Holland still hasn’t watched HBO’s The Last Of Us because he loves the game series too much.

Holland recently appeared on Josh Horowitz’ Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he was asked about his favourite ever video game. “The Last Of Us. The second one. So good,” he replied.
He then revealed that he’s not watched the hit HBO adaptation of The Last Of Us because he “loves the game so much.”
And despite appearing in Fortnite as a playable character as part of a Spider-Man: Brand New Day crossover, Holland told Horowitz that he’s “so bad” at the hit online multiplayer game. “I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a kill in Fortnite. And when you’re playing against those people that start building stuff? I don’t know what to do,” he said. “I don’t play video games all that much.”
As well as starring in the live-action adaptation of Uncharted, Holland has also praised the Marvel’s Spider-Man series. According to Holland, several of the fight scenes in Spider-Man: Brand New Day were inspired by the Insomniac games. “I was actually playing [Marvel’s Spider-Man] last night,” Holland told IGN at the red carpet for the movie. “I couldn’t sleep last night, I was so excited about today. I was trying to figure out what I was gonna do, and I was like, ‘I’ll just throw the game on and have some fun’. A lot of our stuff was influenced by that stuff.”
Earlier this year he, alongside his co-star and wife Zendaya, called the Marvel’s Spider-Man series “absolutely sensational.”
Last month it was announced that Peter Sarsgaard will be joining the cast of The Last Of Us season three as original character Amon, one of the leaders of the antagonistic cult the Seraphites. It caused a number of fans to speculate that the third (and potentially final) season of the HBO adaptation will stray further away from the source material.
