88rising, the pioneering and internationally-renowned music and media company globally amplifying Asian talent and culture, and Goldenvoice, the leading West Coast concert promoter, have announced their partnership with TikTok LIVE for the official livestream of this year’s Head in the Clouds Music and Arts Festival. The festival is set to take place over one day at Brookside at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA, on August 8th.
Bringing the best of Asian-born music to people’s homes around the world, the livestream will feature a variety of original TikTok LIVE programming including festival commentary and artist interviews backstage, woven into the broadcast as part of a special festival edition of the platform’s interactive, podcast-style show TikTok LIVE: On Air. Fans can tune in to the livestream exclusively across the @88rising, @headintheclouds and @tiktoklive_us accounts.
2026 is gearing up to be another major milestone for Head in the Clouds, with a lineup that boasts international superstars, showcasing the global reach of music from the Asian diaspora. The festival will be headlined by Best New Artist GRAMMY-nominated KATSEYE, who will be joined by Japan’s finest Hip-Hop/R&B group XG, the acclaimed South Korean rapper Dabin.kr (performing for the first time in the US under his new moniker), visionary R&B singer-songwriter UMI, Jay Park-produced K-Pop boy group LNGSHOT, acclaimed South Korean girl group KiiiKiii, and much more.
The live broadcast for Head in the Clouds is supported by Panda Express, The Asian American Foundation (TAAF), & Toyota’s New All-Electric Family, giving fans everywhere a chance to join the experience. Festival attendees can additionally visit the Toyota Music Den to explore two standout vehicles, the C-HR and the bZ Woodland, both part of Toyota’s All-Electric Family.
As part of the livestream, TAAF will share The United States of Asian+America, a digital series produced in partnership with Wong Fu Productions that highlights the untold stories of AAPI pioneers who helped shape America and paved the way for organizations like 88rising to build on.
