A Beatles fan has completed an ambitious, bizarre The Legend Of Zelda remix album – check out ‘The Entire Ocarina Of Time Soundtrack If The Beatles Made It’ below:

The 80-minute album takes Koji Kondo’s iconic soundtrack for The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time and adds new vocals, created by ripping words and phrases from across The Beatles and their various side projects’ back catalogues.
“I love Ocarina Of Time. It has been a big part of my life growing up, so I wanted to give it the ultimate tribute. I love The Beatles as well, and while they came later in my life, they mean as much to me,” wrote creator RednasVGM on YouTube. “This project isn’t perfect. I was thinking of making album versions where the songs were more consistent in dynamics and volume, but as the wise Paul McCartney once said, ‘Let It Be’.”
‘The Entire Ocarina Of Time Soundtrack If The Beatles Made It’ took almost 18 months to make, and was created without any AI. Most of the tracks start with the band announcing themselves, before narrating what’s happening in the game. Check it out below:
“I love that you can tell it’s not AI because this is clearly the work of a psychopath,” wrote one fan in the comments. “I am super in love with this because only a human could have made something like it. It’s definitely a labor of love, thank you for making it,” said another. “This has to go down as one of the most legendary shitposts of all time,” wrote a third.
Later this year, Nintendo will release a “reborn” version of The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time for the Switch 2, which follows on from their remake of Star Fox 64. Defending the remakes, Nintendo boss Shigeru Miyamoto said: “Young people today don’t have the opportunity to play games from 10 years ago, so remaking them to be more playable and releasing them again is a good way to meet the demand. Letting people know the original games also leads to future developments, so we’ve been actively pursuing that recently.”
In other news, PlayStation users are planning a week-long boycott to protest Sony’s decision to scrap physical disc releases.
