50 Cent has revealed he has recorded a new collaboration with Eminem and 2Pac for the upcoming Street Fighter movie.
The rapper and actor shared the news during an appearance on Today With Jenna & Sheinelle yesterday (July 24), revealing that the track had been created as a theme for the forthcoming video game adaptation.
“I got some music that I’m working on,” he said. “I did something currently – me, Eminem, and 2Pac.”
After the surprised hosts questioned how 2Pac would feature on the song and asked whether AI had been used, 50 Cent clarified that the late rapper’s estate had provided the vocals.
“It’s his estate. No, it’s not AI,” he said. “They delivered it. It actually was for the theme for Street Fighter, the movie. So then we worked on it and got it right.” He added that 2Pac’s family and estate “loved it”, and said that the collaboration would be “coming out shortly”. No title or official release date has yet been announced.
50 Cent previously signalled that he was attempting to recruit Eminem for the film’s soundtrack in December 2025.
“I’m gonna get @eminem on deck to make some music for this movie Street Fighter,” he wrote on Instagram at the time. “New music on the way!”
The pair’s most recent collaboration was ‘Gunz N Smoke’, which also featured Snoop Dogg and appeared on the latter’s 2024 Dr. Dre-produced album ‘Missionary’.
50 Cent and Eminem have worked together regularly since the former signed to Shady Records in 2002. Their previous collaborations include ‘Patiently Waiting’, ‘Don’t Push Me’, ‘Gatman And Robbin’, ‘Crack A Bottle’ and ‘You Don’t Know’.
Eminem has also previously worked with 2Pac’s music, producing much of the late rapper’s 2004 posthumous album ‘Loyal To The Game’, as well as the 2003 single ‘Runnin’ (Dying To Live)’.
50 Cent is set to portray boxer and former criminal enforcer Balrog in Street Fighter, which will be released in cinemas on October 16.
Directed by Kitao Sakurai, the live-action film is set in 1993 and follows estranged fighters Ryu and Ken Masters as they are recruited by Chun-Li to take part in the World Warrior Tournament.
Andrew Koji will star as Ryu alongside Noah Centineo as Ken and Callina Liang as Chun-Li. The cast also includes Jason Momoa, David Dastmalchian, Orville Peck, Cody Rhodes and Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i.
In other news, it was recently announced that Jay-Z and Eminem will reunite on Rakim’s forthcoming album, marking their first appearance together on a track in 25 years.
Fetty Wap also credited 50 Cent with providing him with “financial and mental help” during his three-year prison sentence earlier this year, saying: “Whatever I needed, he was right there.”
