The couple started dating in 2019 and got engaged just over one year ago. They tied the knot on July 3 at the Neighborhood Church of Palos Verdes in Palos Verdes Estates, California.
The ceremony took inspiration from the late 14th century painting The Birth of Venus, by Italian artist Sandro Botticelli, and Parisi told People ahead of the wedding that she wanted to make a nod to the artwork as she has “always been obsessed with my Italian heritage and the history of the Medici family, who commissioned Botticelli to create some of my favourite paintings”.
She also revealed that Davis proposed to her last June in front of The Birth of Venus. “It honestly felt like a dream. I can’t imagine a more thoughtful or more perfect proposal”, she told the outlet.
At the wedding, there were around 80 guests in attendance, according to Loudwire, including Korn bandmates James “Munky” Shaffer, Brian “Head” Welch, Roberto “Ra” Diaz and Ray Luzier.
The outlet also reports that there was a five-course dinner prepared by chef Celestino Drago, and a live performance from bagpipe player Aaron Shaw.
The couple reportedly had their first dance to Lana Del Rey‘s 2023 song ‘Young and Beautiful’,which featured on the soundtrack for Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby.
Sharing a photo from the wedding, Davis captioned the post: “Here is to the rest of our lives. I’m so lucky to have you.”
The wedding happened to take place on the same day as another high-profile marriage too, with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce also choosing that date to tie the knot at New York’s Madison Square Garden, with over 1,000 people reportedly in attendance.
Shortly after getting married at the start of the month, Jonathan Davis joined Yoshiki on stage for an orchestral rendition of the hit ‘Freak On A Leash’.
As for KoRn, the nu-metal band released their first new music in four years in April, ‘Reward The Scars’, which they created for the video game Diablo IV: Lord Of Hatred. They have also shared the gory animated video for the track.
They have also announced a headline tour for the UK and Europe for later this year, their first string of shows on these shores in over 10 years, having headlined Download last year. See the full list of dates here, and any remaining tickets can be found here.
