Cult Epics is celebrating the work of Rozz Williams this summer in three parts: a new three-track Flowers 12-inch, a feature-length documentary about the late Christian Death founder, and a Pomona concert featuring former members of the band alongside several of Williams’ longtime collaborators.
Originally released on Rozz Williams and Gitane Demone’s 1995 collaborative album Dream Home Heartache, “Flowers” returns July 24 in a new three-track edition from Cult Epics. Available digitally and on limited-edition pink vinyl, the 12-inch pairs a new 2026 analog remix with remastered piano and live versions of the Williams composition, which also appears in director Nico B’s forthcoming documentary, Rozz Williams: Romeo’s Distress.
The A-side features a 2026 analog remix built around Williams’ recorded vocal, with newly recorded instrumental parts by former Christian Death members Rikk Agnew on guitar, James McGearty on bass and David Glass on drums. Paul Roessler of 45 Grave contributes keyboards.
Side B collects two additional versions of the song: a remastered piano rendition drawn from Williams and Gitane Demone’s Dream Home Heartache and a remastered live performance originally released on Sleeping Dogs.

The three-track record runs approximately 20 minutes and is priced at $20. The pink-vinyl edition carries the catalog number CE210 and is being distributed by MVD Entertainment Group.

Rozz Williams: Romeo’s Distress
The record arrives ahead of the August 29 screening of Rozz Williams: Romeo’s Distress at the Fox Theater Pomona. Billed as a homecoming in the city where Williams grew up, the event pairs Nico B’s documentary with an extended live performance by former Christian Death members and special guests.
The 100-minute film examines Williams’ work as a musician, poet and visual artist, as well as his role in founding Christian Death and shaping the sound and imagery of Los Angeles deathrock. Williams died in 1998 at the age of 34, leaving behind a body of work that extended through Christian Death, Shadow Project, Premature Ejaculation and numerous collaborations.

Former Christian Death Members to Perform in Pomona
Following the screening, Agnew, McGearty and Glass will take the stage with vocal performances by Eva O and Gitane Demone. The night also will feature appearances by Patrik Mata of Kommunity FK, Roessler, William Faith of Shadow Project and Williams’ collaborator Kenton Holmes.
The extended set will draw from the three Christian Death albums recorded with Williams — Only Theatre of Pain, Catastrophe Ballet and Ashes — together with selections from Shadow Project.
