‘Heated Rivalry’ star Hudson Williams burns autograph hunters pictures after they follow him to hotel

Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams has been recorded having an angry confrontation with autograph hunters outside his residence in Paris.

The Canadian actor was captured on Monday (July 13), in footage which has since circulated on social media, saying to a group of men asking him to sign head shots: “Guys, you just followed me to my residence.” When one of the men apologises, he responds: “No, no ‘sorry.’ You can’t do this. This is really fucking weird. You can’t fucking do this.”

Implying the men were professional autograph sellers, he continued: “You guys aren’t fans. You’re being really creepy and you just followed me, OK? You don’t do this. You don’t do this.” The video shows Williams taking a pile of pictures from one of the men and attempting to light it on fire, saying “I’m gonna burn this at home” when the flame doesn’t catch.

The exchange concludes with him telling the men: “Now please fucking leave, you’re being fucking demented. I want to watch you. Hop on your little bike.” The actor was in the city attending a Balenciaga fashion show.

Hudson Williams and co-star Connor Storrie shot to fame following the success of Heated Rivalry earlier this year, where they played ice hockey rivals who fall in love. The cast has experienced harassment since coming into the spotlight, prompting Williams to post a response on social media in March in collaboration with co-star François Arnaud.

“Don’t call yourself a fan if you share racist/homophobic/biphobic/misogynist/ageist /ableist/parasocial/bigoted comments of any kind,” they posted on their Instagram Stories on March 9. “None of us need your hateful ‘love.’” They continued, “We all respect and support and love each other and are on the same side. If you can’t accept that gtfoh [get the fuck outta here].”

In June, Williams was the subject of controversy after a picture emerged of him in high school with a swastika drawn on his face.
