Donald Trump has diagnosed several Hollywood stars with “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

In a recently shared AI-generated video, the US President appears dressed as “Dr Trump” and doles out treatment plans for his “patients” – many of whom are some of his most vocal critics.

The video, which plays out like a pharmaceutical ad, includes clips of fake testimonials from the likes of Julia Roberts, Robert De Niro, Rosie O’Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, John Leguizamo, and Edward Norton.

“I have been suffering for over a decade, and after listening to Dr Trump, I can see some results,” a fake O’Donnell – who has previously described Trump as a “threat to humanity”  – said. An AI-created Goldberg added, “I really thought I was a lost cause; this was gonna affect me for the rest of my life. But after using the treatment plan, I can see a difference.”

“I couldn’t eat. I couldn’t sleep, constantly angry. I made everyone miserable around me,” the AI avatar of De Niro said, while the fake Roberts went on to say: “I feel like I’ve aged 20 years in the last 2 years. I’ve been so concerned. I was really starting to worry about my future.”

At the end of the video, Trump detailed his “simple” treatment plan for the imaginary syndrome, advising: “Turn off fake news, say your prayers, and if you ever feel anxious, just have a Diet Coke like me.”

It’s not the first time he’s accused his critics of suffering from the syndrome. Following the tragic deaths of director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, he went on a hugely divisive rant about the couple’s progressive politics.

He said their deaths were “reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.”

He has taken to posting AI-generated images and videos on his social media channels, many of which have invited similar criticism. Earlier this year, he was slammed for posting an AI video on Truth Social depicting former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama, as apes.

Goldberg was among those to hit out at the video, and said: “There are no apes in The Lion King and I just would like y’all at least once, once in your administration, to check your facts, check your stuff. You know, just check.”

Countering her depiction as a hippo being inferior to Trump as a lion, she added: “Just be aware – hippos will kill you faster than a lion in the wild. Hippos lay on you and you’re gone. They chase you…If you’re going to make fun of folks, just make up your own stuff and admit that you did it.”

Goldberg has been a regular critic of Trump, and was also one of many figures to attack him for his controversial comments about Reiner in the days following his murder.
