PRIMROSE released the single album “Cosmic” on June 24.
Having previously captured the radiant moments and excitement of youth through “Cinema” and “Love your flower,” PRIMROSE now takes a step further, embarking on a journey to discover their most authentic selves.
Comprising two tracks, the digital single album “Cosmic” showcases the current iteration of PRIMROSE through a deepened emotional depth and an expanded musical spectrum. Reflecting a clearer identity and an honest perspective, this release marks the starting point of a new chapter for the group.
Notably, the members personally participated in writing the lyrics and composing the music for the title track, ‘Cosmic,’ adding special significance to the release. Infused with each member’s unique interpretation of “being true to oneself,” the song highlights PRIMROSE’s musical identity, creative capabilities, and limitless future potential. ‘Cosmic’ tells the story of moments spent confronting oneself in a new dimension. The music video visually brings to life the mood of ‘Cosmic,’ traversing the boundary between reality and the unconscious realm of dreams. The story begins in a colorless space representing repetitive daily life, then shifts into a dream world as the characters fall asleep, unfolding a series of new scenes. Rapidly intercutting between in-game visuals and fragments of the unconscious, the video depicts the members—like game characters—exploring an unfamiliar space and racing freely. On a rooftop in the heart of the city—a space that feels suspended somewhere between dream and reality—the four members finally face one another. There, they fully embrace a sense of freedom unlike anything they have known before, stepping into a brand-new chapter.
