Paul Rudd plays a washed up wedding singer in comedy drama Power Ballad.
Directed by John Carney, the film follows singer Rick Power, who bonds with former boy band singer Danny Wilson during a wedding. However, when Danny steals one of Rick’s songs and makes it a number one hit, Rick seeks out revenge.

Along with Rudd, the film’s cast includes Nick Jonas, Peter McDonald, Marcella Plunkett, Havana Rose Liu and Jack Reynor.
Power Ballad was released in UK cinemas on May 29, 2026.
