TV fans on Reddit have been offering up the TV shows they felt were cancelled too soon.
The growing landscape of television in the streaming era means the stakes for success are much higher, meaning some shows do not last for their full intended run. Recent shows such as And Just Like That… and Gen V both have been cut short recently, and one Reddit thread asked telly addicts to name the ones that hurt the most.
In the r/television subreddit, a discussion began with the question: “What series got canceled that you’re still mad about?” At the time of writing, the post had 68 comments, putting forward a variety of titles.

The most mentioned show was Mindhunter, the Netflix show produced and directed by David Fincher, which followed FBI agents during the 1960s and ‘70s during the beginnings of the process of criminal profiling. The show included portrayals of real life serial killers such as Ed Kemper and Charles Manson. It was cancelled in 2019 after two seasons, but fans have often called for a return.
