DRIPPIN members Cha Jun-ho, Kim Dong-yoon, and Lee Hyeop announce a new beginning with the release of a 3-member unit album under the new team name, ‘ChaDongHyeop.’
Through the release of their first single album, “Doogeundae,” Cha Dong-hyeop plans to showcase the individual charms of its members—heightened by their lovely visuals and unique vocal tones. The harmonious synergy of these three members—who excel in every aspect, from vocals and rap to visuals and performance—promises to captivate the public with a fresh appeal distinct from DRIPPIN’s established team identity.
The title track ‘Doogeundae,’ is a NU-DISCO-based song that blends an uptempo rhythm with shimmering synth textures and funky guitar riffs to evoke overwhelming excitement and a racing heart. A distinctive feature of the track is the sound of a heartbeat, which syncs perfectly with the rhythm.
Furthermore, the song captures the uncontrollable trembling one feels when thinking of a crush, expressing these emotions through intuitive beats and lyrics. It aims to delicately portray the specific feelings experienced in those moments when excitement first begins to bloom.
The B-side track, ‘Spring Walk’ (Bom San-chaek), is a medium-tempo R&B song distinguished by a cheerful, groovy drumline and fluid bass movements—evoking the sensation of taking a light stroll under the warm sunlight. The sweet vocal harmonies of the three members blend with a fresh, dreamlike melody, offering listeners a blissful fantasy—as if strolling down a spring path hand-in-hand with a loved one.
Arriving with the warmth of the season as part of a new unit, ChaDongHyeop’s first single album, “Doogeundae” will knock upon your heart and evoke memories of that first encounter—a moment brimming with fluttering excitement.
