Sleepy Hallow’s creator-made Fortnite music experience wins two honors for innovation in immersive gaming; “Getting Better with Jonathan Van Ness” recognized among leading health, wellness and lifestyle podcasts
May 12 2026 – New York, NY – Visionary projects from Sony Music artists and creators were recognized for achievements in immersive gaming and podcasting at the 30th Annual Webby Awards, the Internet’s leading celebration of the creators, companies, platforms and personalities shaping today’s cultural and technological landscape. Winners were honored on May 11 at a ceremony in New York City.
Sleepy Hallow: The Hallow Heist, a limited-time creator-made music experience playable in Fortnite, was named Webby Award Winner and People’s Voice Award Winner for Best Use of Immersive in Games in the Apps, Software & Immersive category. Developed in partnership with RCA Records and Sony Immersive Music Studios, the Multi-Gold and Platinum-certified Brooklyn star’s project takes an innovative approach to developing unique, authentic virtual worlds for gaming-first audiences.
In podcasting, Getting Better with Jonathan Van Ness has been named a Webby Award Honoree in the Health, Wellness & Lifestyle Podcast category, highlighting its goal to empower listeners by using curiosity as a tool for personal growth.
Presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), the Webby Awards honor excellence across websites, video, advertising, Media & PR, apps & software, social, games, podcasts, creators and AI. This year’s competition drew more than 13,000 entries from all 50 U.S. states and over 70 countries, underscoring the program’s global reach.
