“When You Smile” is a celebration of romance and connection. “We wanted to write a classic love song but give it that modern Echo Bureau treatment,” the duo shared. “There is something incredibly powerful about the human smile. It’s something that technology has never been able to replicate. The power and emotion in a single smile is literally incalculable. We wanted to translate that into sound. Something bright, upbeat, and full of love energy. It’s about being completely captivated by someone and letting yourself get swept up in that emotion.” In addition to handling the vocals Mancuso also plays the sax on ‘When You Smile’. According to bandmate Iwan, “You can’t have a proper love song without a sax now, can you?”
