Last month, during a partner showcase, Microsoft revealed 14 new titles coming to Xbox Game Pass over the next 12 months.
However a number of games are being removed from Xbox Game Pass on April 30 – Citizen Sleeper, Creatures of Ava, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Endless Legend 2, Goat Simulator, Goat Simulator Remastered, Hunt Showdown 1896, NHL 24 and Revenge Of The Savage Planet.
Earlier this month Asha Sharma, new Chief Executive Officer Of Microsoft Games, admitted that Xbox Game Pass had become too pricey. “Game Pass is central to gaming value on Xbox. It’s also clear that the current model isn’t the final one,” she said in an internal memo (via The Verge). “Short term, Game Pass has become too expensive for players, so we need a better value equation. Long term, we will evolve Game Pass into a more flexible system which will take time to test and learn around.” It’s been reported that Microsoft is now considering removing brand new Call Of Duty releases from its Xbox Game Pass offering in a bid to cut costs.
In other news, the full cast for the Elden Ring movie adaptation has been confirmed alongside a 2028 release date.
