The seven-track album marks the group’s most sonically diverse project to date, pushing their signature rock sound into deeper, more deliberate territory. <DEAD AND> opens with the retro-tinged “Helium Balloon,” whose floating melodies highlight the band’s versatility and range. The album also features the hard-hitting “No Cool Kids Zone,” a track that channels the rebellious, unrestrained spirit the group is known for. Other standouts include the emotionally charged “Hurt So Good” and “KTM,” where the band pours its heart into every note, underscoring a newly realized depth that defines the project as a whole.
The title track, “Voyager,” is paired with a visually striking music video set in an unfamiliar dystopian world. Its sweeping, sand-filled landscapes and breathtaking effects highlight Xdinary Heroes as not only exceptional musicians, but visionary creatives steadily establishing themselves as future pillars of the rock landscape.
The album also features the previously released track “X room.” This heartfelt ballad is a further example of <DEAD AND>’s versatility, showing the group’s softer, more vulnerable side in a way that perfectly compliments the rest of the album. The track has quickly become a fan favorite, with its music video amassing several million views within the first few weeks of release.
The album comes on the heels of what was a monumental 2025 for the group. In August, Xdinary Heroes delivered a showstopping performance at Lollapalooza in Chicago, which was then followed by their 2025 World Tour, which included seven major U.S. dates at renowned venues such as the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and the Brooklyn Paramount in New York City. The group ended the year with the release of their most recent EP <LXVE to DEATH>, which includes the highly acclaimed track “FiRE (My Sweet Misery).”
