Having passed through fierce competition via two auditions, including Mnet’s Boys 2 Planet and Planet C: Home Race, expectations for their new beginning are higher than ever, as they have secured this hard-won opportunity to debut.
MODYSSEY’s debut single, “1. Got Hooked: An Addictive Symphony”—marking the arrival of a new “global rookie” in the K-pop market—is a work that captures the group’s vibrant vitality, intuitive magnetism, and raw, honest energy. Expectations are running particularly high for the title track, ‘JHOOK’ which features the involvement of 3RACHA, the production team behind JYP Entertainment’s Stray Kids.
MODYSSEY has already built a global fanbase through the audition process. Furthermore, even before their debut, they have been building a narrative of growth by showcasing their natural charm off-stage and strong teamwork through the Mnet reality variety show SAY SAY MODYSSEY.
Meanwhile, expectations have been raised by foreshadowing intense performances and a unique team color through various content, including two recently released music video teasers for the title track ‘HOOK’ and concept content. Above all, ‘HOOK’ is a song produced by Stray Kids’ production team 3RACHA, and it is expected to leave a strong first impression with its highly addictive melody and energetic performance.
