In the clip, which you can watch via Spotify and Apple, the singer pays tribute to the late icon by splicing scenes from her most famous movies including Cleopatra, Father Of The Bride, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof and Suddenly, Last Summer, alongside snippets of newsreel footage of her.

Upon the release of the album, the track opened at Number Three on the Billboard charts.

Christopher Wilding also shared his thoughts on Swift naming a song after his late mother.

At the time he said the nods to his mum’s legacy throughout the song were “especially magical”, and that she and Swift have a lot of common ground.

“She and my mom do seem like kindred spirits,” Wilding added. “They are both the very embodiment of female empowerment. The way [Swift] has deftly captured the similarities and parallel tracks in their careers and personal lives is delightful.”

Swift has had a long running respect for Elizabeth Taylor, and has referenced the actor before on the ‘Reputation’ track ‘…Ready For It?’ – making a nod to her affair with Richard Burton.

She also opened up about her admiration for the Hollywood star in a recent interview, and thanked Wilding for his comments comparing her to his mother.

“My parents sent me this clip of Elizabeth Taylor’s son [Christopher] saying something very flattering, that if there were one person he might compare to his mother in the modern day, in terms of persona and … the chaos around us, he said it would be me,” she shared. “I was so flattered by that.”

Aside from the main video, Swift has also shared a ‘So Glamorous Cabaret’ version of the track on YouTube with just piano accompaniment that was previously part of exclusive, limited album or single variants. You can view it above.

That and the main track are set to feature on a seven-inch vinyl for Record Store Day on April 18.

Elsewhere, Swift is being sued by a former Las Vegas performer over a dispute over ‘The Life Of A Showgirl’ trademark.

She also recently asked for the US government to block a bedding company’s attempt to trademark the phrase ‘Swift Home’.
