OMEGA X took the stage at Ääniwalli in Helsinki to an immediate reaction. The crowd responded right away, and the atmosphere in the venue changed quickly as the show began.
FOR X, OMEGA X’s fanbase, were active from the very start. Small gestures from the stage did not go unnoticed, and the members responded to chants and cheers as they happened. The interaction between OMEGA X and their fans continued naturally throughout the night.
Before the concert, fans had already met the group during VIP events, including a fansign, group photos, and a soundcheck. The soundcheck felt different from the main show. The members wore casual clothing instead of stage outfits, and the mood was calm and relaxed. They spoke with fans, moved around the stage, and tested the space without pressure.
Once the concert properly started, the pace picked up. Songs followed one another without long breaks, and the energy stayed high. The members moved across the stage constantly and often stepped closer to the front rows. At one point, some of them even stepped down from the stage to interact with fans near the barricade, which brought an even stronger reaction from the crowd.
One of the interactive moments of the night was the “Touch challenge”, filmed for the group’s social media. The challenge was done twice during the concert. Fans raised their phone flashlights and passed a wave of light from the front of the venue to the back while the song Touch was playing.
The members also played a game called “Are We Connected?”. OMEGA X shouted “Are we?”, and the audience responded with “Connected!”. The themes were Moomin and sauna. Some of the members chose different poses, which made them lose the game and receive a playful punishment. Their punishment was that they were “not allowed” to leave the venue, which resulted in a longer encore where the audience was allowed to choose which song they would perform.
Throughout the night, OMEGA X performed many songs fans had been waiting for. LOVE+, performed by the sub-unit OX:N, received a warm and loud response that continued even after the song ended.
During VAMOS, WHAT’S GOIN’ ON, and LOVE ME LIKE, the energy in the venue was especially high. FOR X sang along and jumped throughout the songs, and the members reacted to the atmosphere on stage.
After the concert, the connection did not end with the final song. OMEGA X met fans again during hi-touch, selfie, and polaroid events. Even though the moments were short, they did not feel rushed. The members stayed attentive and kind, even after a show that lasted over two hours.
Considering everything the group has been through in the past, their openness stood out. Nothing about their reactions felt forced. Both on stage and after the show, OMEGA X seemed comfortable, and happy to spend time with FOR X.
Seeing how relaxed and genuinely happy the members looked was something I will remember. The night was about more than the setlist or the production. It was a warm and memorable experience for both OMEGA X and their fans.
The concert did not feel incomplete, even though only six members, Jaehan, Sebin, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, and Yechan, were able to attend the European tour. It was meaningful to see OMEGA X perform in Finland after Finnish FOR X had waited for years for their visit, and the night left many hoping they would return again soon.
