The book was first announced last September, and it will be the official photographic chronicle of Liam and Noel Gallagher’s huge reunion tour last year, with acclaimed photographer Simon Emmett having been granted unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to the band throughout the intercontinental tour.

Emmett took the now famous photograph of Noel and Liam back together again after 16 years, released on the day of the announcement of the Oasis Live ‘25 tour in August 2024. Now, the book will present 1000 unseen photographs taken since that day.

Emmett has said: “When I saw the reaction to the photo, it was obvious to me that this wasn’t a single event. The photograph was the beginning of something. I felt strongly that this needed to be documented. There was no facade, this was genuine.”

“We watched the crowd having the time of their lives, but the band and the crew are also having equally as good a time. That’s what was so magical about it. Opus is a really appropriate home for something like Oasis Live ‘25. They’re a unique publisher, and it was a unique tour. I just hope that in some small way that it has captured the essence of joy of it.”

Check out a trailer for the book below, with a voiceover from Emmett and exclusive footage of the pages being printed:

The book will be available in four different editions, each with a foreword written by Emmett. The ‘Live Forever Edition’ will be a 336-page hardback measuring 33.6 x 24.6cm, weighing 0.5kg, for £65. The ‘Wonderwall Edition’ will be 648 pages, measuring 47 x 33.5cm and 12kg and presented in a clamshell case, for £350.

The ‘Glory Edition’ will be 62 x 44.5cm and 21.5kg, bound in leather with a voicenote from Emmett, a 10” vinyl record, a lithographic photographic print from Emmett and presented in a choice of clamshell cases. That will be limited to 3000 copies worldwide and is available for £1,250.

Finally, the ‘Supernova Edition’ will be 82 x 59cm and 70kg, housed in a bespoke flight case-inspired acrylic case, with the voicenote and a 12” vinyl record and two sliver gelatin photographic prints signed by Emmett. There will be 100 copies worldwide and it could be yours for £12,000.

All formats of the photo book will begin shipping from May this year and you can pre-order your copy here.

The first copy of the ‘Supernova Edition’, numbered 001, will be auctioned for the Teenage Cancer Trust on November 19, with all proceeds going to the charity.

Jane Ashton, Teenage Cancer Trust’s head of music and entertainment, has said: “This is such a special fundraiser for us as Oasis have been huge supporters of the charity for almost 25 years, and we’re so very grateful to them for choosing us to receive the proceeds from the first edition, as well as be associated with such an iconic tour and product.”

“Teenage Cancer Trust exists because cancer care wasn’t made for young people – and we’re here to make sure every young person has the treatment, care and support they need. I know that the sale of this first edition will help us be there for more young people who need us, when they need us the most. Thank you Oasis and thank you Opus!“

In other Oasis news, Steven Knight recently shared more details about his upcoming documentary on the reunion tour, which is said to include “phenomenal” footage of Liam and Noel’s first meeting before the shows began.

“It’s phenomenal,” Knight said. “We’ve got it down to four hours, so we’ve gotta get it down to [a shorter runtime]. But it’s a documentary with a plot, do you know what I mean? It’s actually got a story. And then we’ve expanded it… you’ll see when you see it.”

Noel has also spoken about the documentary, saying: “I’ve only seen a tiny little bit of it and it’s difficult to have an opinion on it because I’m only looking at little snippets.

“Everyone who has seen it, or seen more of it than I have, has said that it’s amazing. If it even captures five per cent of what that tour was, it’ll be astonishing. Looking forward to it.”

Last month, Noel revealed he was back in the recording studio. However, it is currently not known whether this was for new Oasis music or something else. The musician had said earlier that he was “back at work” following his Christmas break.

At the end of last year, Liam said Oasis wouldn’t be touring again until 2027 at the earliest. He had previously teased that there were “loads more classics we need to play” on the road, and hinted at “a European tour”.
