The festival for creativity, culture and technology will return to London from June 1-6, taking place in Shoreditch once again. Music wristbands are available to purchase from £25 for a one-day wristband or £79 for the full length of SXSW London – get yours here.

Now, SXSW has announced ten global artists to join its line-up – with UK post-punks Shame, abstract rapper Earl Sweatshirt and popstar Rachel Chinouriri leading the list of names.

Indie rockers Circa Waves will also play the festival alongside soft rock band Infinity Song and experimental club producer Sega Bodega at SXSW. Nigerian Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage will perform alongside rapper ODUMODUBLVCK, while Hackney-based, Jamaican Guyanese singer-songwriter Amaria BB is also due to play.

Those holding a festival pass can also see Grammy winning producer Fraser T Smith and legendary DJ Pete Tong at the festival.

Shame will be playing cuts from their 2025 record ‘Cutthroat‘, with the band telling NME in an interview: “The album doesn’t have a direct political mission behind it – it’s more social commentary than anything else – but the type of person I’m asking about is easy to find at the moment.

“You don’t have to look far for seedy characters, for cowards and hypocrites – in life, or on this record. I wanted to write looking outward rather than inward, and this is what I saw.”

Meanwhile, former NME Cover star Rachel Chinouriri will be performing songs from her debut album ‘What A Devastating Turn Of Events‘ and her most recent EP, 2025’s ‘Little House‘. In a four-star review, we wrote that ‘Little House’ was “glowing proof that, whether happy or sad, Rachel Chinouriri has more than enough star power for this moment to go on, and on, and on”.

Earl Sweatshirt has also joined the End Of The Road 2026 line-up. He’ll play at the festival alongside other headliners like Mac DeMarco, Pulp, and CMAT, with a mystery “secret headliner” yet to be revealed.

Elsewhere, at the inaugural edition of the London festival last year, a number of artists pulled out over “artwashing” concerns following appearances from Tony Blair, David Cameron and NATO.
