Stardew Valley launched in February 2016 and the life simulation title went on to become one of the biggest-selling games of all time.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary, creator Eric ‘ConcernedApe’ Barone will be premiering a nostalgic video looking back at old versions of the game, as well as revealing more about the upcoming 1.7 update and sharing a “special” message for players. You’ll be able to watch it from 7pm GMT this evening (February 26) here.

I made a video for tomorrow’s 10-year Stardew Valley Anniversary, it will “premiere” tomorrow at 11am PST.
In the video, I comment on some pre-release footage, and reveal the 2 new 1.7 marriage candidates at the end.

Video game merch company Fangamer are also celebrating 10 years of Stardew Valley. At 2am GMT tonight they’ll be streaming a recording of ‘Symphony Of Seasons’, the orchestral Stardew Valley concert tour that premiered last year and is currently wrapping up a run around North America, via their YouTube channel.

They’ve also confirmed a new anniversary merch drop. Eagle-eyed fans have already clocked what looks like a vinyl featured in a teaser image. “Is that a ‘Festival Of Seasons’ Vinyl we see…?” asked the official Stardew Valley concert tour X account. “The wait is over, it’s coming February 26,” they added.

“‘Stardew Valley: Festival Of Seasons’ is an intimate, immersive live concert featuring fresh arrangements of the most cherished songs from the game’s mesmerising soundtrack. Curated by ConcernedApe, the concert program will take you on a musical journey through the four seasons of the valley, its unforgettable festivals, and its beloved villagers.”

The official ‘Festival Of Seasons’ soundtrack hit streaming in August.

Speaking to NME last year, Barone admitted that he might never be done updating Stardew Valley. “It’s hard to give up on a game that is still popular and is so meaningful to people. Realistically, I can see myself still doing this when I’m 80 years old.” However he’s currently working on a new project – Haunted Chocolatier.

“It’s a totally new thing,” said Barone. “The themes are different and I want to do a lot more with the creative, wacky stuff. I’m not tied down to 12 years of prior development like I am with Stardew. I can literally do anything.“

In other news, UK metal titans Malevolence have shared their official World Of Warcraft anthem ‘Twelve To Zero’.
