Paul Weller has announced plans to release a compilation of his BBC live session recordings.
Entitled ‘Weller At The BBC Vol.2’ the three-disc collection is taken from various studio sessions at the corporation between 2008-2024.
Available as a triple LP and CD set, the collection features tracks from across his solo career, as well as The Jam and The Style Council‘s back catalogue including ‘Wild Wood’, ‘Start!’, ‘Broken Stones’, ‘My Ever Changing Moods’, ‘Aspects’, ‘The Eton Rifles’, ‘Wake Up The Nation’ and ‘Shout To The Top’. There are also covers of The Kinks, The Zombies and Billie Eilish.
It includes ‘When Your Garden’s Overgrown’ and ‘Boy About Town’ too, which featured on his recently-announced Record Store Day seven inch release.
The album is the follow-up to his 2008 compilation ‘Weller At The BBC’, which included BBC performances recorded between 1990 – 2008. It will be released on Parlophone on Friday, April 24 and can be purchased here.
