The controversial rapper will take to the stage at the GelreDome in Arnhem on Saturday June 6, for a “one-night-only” performance.

Per a press release, the 41,000-capacity stadium – which has a retractable roof – is one of the largest indoor venues in the country.

A listing promises that the forthcoming date will offer “a rare and unmissable moment for Ye’s fans”, adding: “This will not be a standard concert. It’s a moment like his last show at GelreDome in 2012, still talked about today in the Netherlands.”

Tickets go on general sale at 10am CET this Friday (February 13) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale at the same time on Thursday (February 12) – sign up here.

The gig will be West’s first European headline show in 12 years, and his first appearance in the Netherlands since 2013. It’ll serve as the first stop of Ye’s return to the continent, with another stop scheduled for Reggio Emilia, Italy, on July 18.

His performance in the Netherlands “will open this limited run of European dates”, suggesting more announcements could be coming soon.

A spokesperson for GelreDome said: “We look forward to welcoming Ye to GelreDome. This is an event of international scale and a special moment for Dutch audiences. We expect significant demand.”

In 2023 and 2024, West held some listening parties in Europe for his collaborative material with Ty Dolla $ign, dubbed the “‘Vultures’ Listening Experience”. He previously brought his Sunday Service gospel choir to Paris in March 2020 (via Los Angeles Times).

Ye had reportedly planned to embark on a global tour with his Sunday Service that year, but this did not come to fruition amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Back in 2016, West was forced to cancel the UK and European leg of his ‘Saint Pablo’ headline tour.

West is currently set to release his next studio album, ‘Bully’, on March 20. Last month, he claimed that his recent apology for his past anti-Semitic comments was not about his forthcoming record or an attempt to “revive” his career.

His latest solo records, ‘Donda’ and ‘Donda 2’, arrived in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
