Sam Raimi’s new survival horror Send Help is in cinemas now, but what songs are on the soundtrack? Find out below.
The film stars Rachel McAdams as a corporate employee who becomes stranded on a remote island after a plane ride that she was sharing with her boss, played by Dylan O’Brien, ends in disaster.
It is the first feature film from legendary horror director Raimi since 2022’s Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness, although he remains best known for 1981’s The Evil Dead and its 1987 sequel, as well as the Tobey Maguire Spider-Man trilogy in the 2000s.

It has been written by Mark Swift and Damian Shannon, whose previous credits include Baywatch (2017) and Freddy vs. Jason (2003).
The film was released into cinemas on Friday (February 6), having had its world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre on January 21.
It has been met with widespread critical praise, scoring a 93 per cent rating on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing. A consensus reads: “Putting director Sam Raimi’s penchant for diabolical mayhem to great use, Send Help doesn’t need an assistance in thrills thanks to a very game Rachel McAdams and Dylan O’Brien along with a viciously clever script.”
Every song on the Send Help soundtrack
The film includes an original score from legendary composer Danny Elfman, best known for Batman, Beetlejuice, The Simpsons and Men In Black. He has also worked with Raimi in the past on his films Darkman, A Simple Plan, Oz The Great And Powerful, Multiverse of Madness and the entire Spider-Man trilogy. The soundtrack for Send Help is available now via Hollywood Records.
In addition, the film makes use of a choice number of needle drops, notably in its opening moments when it includes Blondie’s 1977 single ‘Rip Her To Shreds’, while it also plays out on another Blondie classic, ‘One Way Or Another’.
The other music choice in the film is the use of ‘Theme (Instrumental)’, the classic 1950s tune from the cult composer and musician Moondog.
