In a post shared to Instagram on Thursday (February 5), Victoria, Mel C, Geri Halliwell-Horner, and Emma Bunton sang a rendition of the 1997 ‘Spiceworld’ single as Cruz played along on the guitar, with Mel B the only Spice Girl not in attendance.
Referencing his upcoming tour, he wrote: “I think I found my openers… you think they have potential?” He added that there was “something exciting coming later today”, and told fans to keep their eyes peeled.
“Love you all,” Victoria wrote in the comments of the video, which has sent speculation about a reunion tour into overdrive. It comes after Mel C recently hinted at a comeback tour with Victoria, saying that the latter needs to “have that experience” on stage.
The girl group embarked on a huge stadium tour in 2019, but the line-up did not include Beckham (aka Posh Spice). The last time all five members performed together publicly was at the London Olympics’ closing ceremony in 2012.

In 2024, however, Mel C, Halliwell-Horner, Bunton, Mel B and Beckham did give a surprise performance of ‘Stop’ at Posh’s 50th birthday party.
Beckham further fuelled rumours of a full reunion last autumn when she attended one of Oasis’ Live ’25 concerts at London’s Wembley Stadium – where the Spice Girls had played three huge dates in 2019. She shared a photo from the Oasis gig along with the word “Tempting”, while tagging her former bandmates in the post.
Towards the end of last year, Mel C said she remained “optimistic” regarding a tour to coincide with Spice Girls’ three-decade milestone. The vocalist explained earlier in 2025 that she felt “it’s time” for another run of shows.
Later, Mel B hinted that Spice Girls could be hitting the road once again in 2026, and Halliwell-Horner teased that “there will be something” with Beckham in the fold in the future. “My hope is we come back together as a collective,” she commented. “It’s more respectful to come as one.” She also revealed that all five members currently shared a group chat.
As for Cruz, last year he launched his music career today with the singles ‘Optics’ and ‘Lick The Toad’. Technically, he’d already debuted far earlier at only 11 years old, when he shared the festive track ‘If Every Day Was Christmas’.
Now in his 20s, it was revealed back in March that he’d enlisted the help of The Kooks’ Luke Pritchard to officially kick start his career. The singer is friends with Cruz and was revealed to be helping him out with his songwriting.
Pritchard said at the time: “He has really good taste in music. We chat about early Bee Gees – there aren’t many people I can do that with. We started writing songs together and we’ve become mates. I’d just love to help him navigate [a career in music].”

Heightened chatter around a Spice Girls reunion tour comes amid a period of personal troubles for the Beckham family, after son Brooklyn shared a statement about his relationship with his parents after months of rumours of a falling out.
In the post, he defended his wife, Nicola Peltz, and said that she had been “consistently disrespected” by his family. He also accused his parents of “controlling” him and of “bribery”, adding that he has no intentions of reconciling with them any time soon.
One person who made a nod towards the statement was pop star Lily Allen, who took to Instagram Stories to share a reimagined version of her ‘West End Girl’ album – depicting Brooklyn sat in the same way and in the same coat as she has on the original cover.
The renewed interest in Victoria’s singing career in light of the drama also saw her 2001 single ‘Not Such An Innocent Girl’ top the UK Official Singles Sales Chart and the Official Download Chart in the UK, a quarter of a century since its release.
