Bradley Cooper turns to the world of stand-up comedy in his third feature film, Is This Thing On?
Based on the life of Liverpudlian comedian John Bishop, the comedy-drama follows Alex Novak, who finds renewed purpose participating in the New York stand-up scene in the face of an impending divorce.

Will Arnett and Laura Dern lead the film’s cast, alongside Andra Day, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, Christine Ebersole and Ciarán Hinds. Cooper also makes an appearance on-screen as Alex’s best friend, Balls.
Is This Thing On? debuted in the US on December 19, 2025, and arrives in UK cinemas from January 30, 2026.
