Cult classic Life Is Strange was released in 2015 and explored Max Caulfield’s ability to rewind time to save her childhood friend Chloe Price from being murdered. Max returned in 2024’s controversial sequel Double Exposure without Chloe but the pair will be reunited in the upcoming Life Is Strange: Reunion.
The game is described as the “conclusion” to their story, with players able to play as both Max and Chloe. However Ashley Burch, who voiced Chloe in Life Is Strange, won’t be returning for Reunion.

“I wasn’t asked to reprise my role as Chloe, so I’m learning about Reunion at the same time as the fans,” she told Eurogamer. “I’m grateful people still care so much about these characters. Max and Chloe will always have a special place in my heart,” she added.
In Life Is Strange: Reunion, Chloe will be voiced by Rihanna Devries who took on the role for 2018 prequel Before The Storm. “Out of my mind excited to return as Chloe Price in Life is Strange: Reunion,” she wrote on Instagram shortly after the game was announced.
“In Life Is Strange: Reunion, players will once again visit Caledon University where Max Caulfield works as a photography teacher. Returning from a weekend away, Max finds her beloved Caledon ablaze, as a raging inferno destroys the hallowed grounds and ends the lives of Max’s friends, students and faculty alike. Jumping back in time through a selfie, Max now has just three days to work out how the fire began. Can she make the most of her second chance to prevent this fiery disaster,” explains a press release.
Life Is Strange: Reunion is set to launch March 26, 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Last year, Amazon confirmed that they were working on a live-action adaptation of Life Is Strange. The show will be written by Charlie Covell (Kaos, The End Of The F******g World), who will also serve as executive producer and showrunner. “It’s a huge honour to be adapting Life Is Strange. “I am a massive fan of the game, and I can’t wait to share Max and Chloe’s story with fellow players and new audiences alike,” she said in a statement.
In other news, Amazon has confirmed that the final two episodes of Fallout season two are being released early.
